“Computers themselves, and software yet to be developed, will revolutionize the way we learn”. – Steve Jobs
Computers and other technological aids are used throughout the school. Computing and digital English skills are taught as a discreet subject, both in the classroom and in our dedicated computer suite, as well as being used to support learning in other areas of the curriculum.
The children are encouraged to communicate ideas and information in a variety of forms, where appropriate, using computer software, digital tools and on-line applications to enhance their learning. We are a registered Code Club school, and computing and coding opportunities are available both at lunch times and after school.
Teachers and pupils throughout the school are supported by our internally recruited Digital Leaders, who receive training throughout their time with us. In addition, they take a lead role in promoting e-safety through the e-Cadets scheme, and act as ambassadors for the school in the wider community.
