About Our School

Knowles Primary School is sited between Queensway and Leon Recreational ground in Fenny Stratford.  The present School was established in 2012, following the merger of Knowles Infant and Knowles Junior Schools but there has been a school or schools, with varying names, on the site since the 1890s.

Much of the School’s character derives from its buildings, some of which date back to the turn of the century.  In recent years the accommodation has been improved with the conversion and extension of some areas and the recent merger has allowed the School to develop and make better use of the buildings we have.

In addition to the usual classroom space, we have a large gym, dining area, two assembly halls, two libraries, a computer suite and cookery areas.  We are also fortunate to have large playgrounds, including a dedicated area for outside learning in Foundation and Year 1.  We also have generously sized playing fields and a School garden/allotment and an area for Forest School.

Bletchley Educational Partnership

Knowles Primary School is part of the Bletchley Educational Partnership.  The first group is made up of Headteachers from the Bletchley schools, primary, secondary and special.  The partnership also brings together the Deputies and Assistant Heads of the schools and subject leaders.  We work on issues specific to the needs of our schools and run projects and initiatives to further the opportunities for our children and young people.
