Our School

Knowles Primary School is at the heart of an amazing community here in central Bletchley.

At Knowles Primary School, our children learn through an ambitious, inclusive, engaging curriculum led by our team of knowledgeable and passionate staff. All children enjoy and have access to a wealth of resources and experiences to enrich their lives, make memories and foster a life-long love of learning that equips them with the skills and attributes which will allow them to flourish both in school and beyond. Each child is encouraged to reach their full potential both academically and personally in our happy, safe and stimulating environment. Children achieve exceptional outcomes.

We are incredibly lucky to have a beautiful school site with a secret garden, our own forest for Forest School, allotments full of fruit and vegetables, dedicated curriculum rooms, a growing orchard donated by the Woodlands Trust, a beautiful outside area for our Foundation children to enjoy and challenge themselves in, extensive grounds for sport and play and two dedicated Kaleidoscope colour therapy rooms.

We benefit from subject specific rooms designed to enhance your child’s learning and includes: a science laboratory, a dedicated DT and art room, a fully equipped kitchen and a music room bursting with instruments from djembe drums and ukuleles to keyboards and electric guitars.

Children’s health and wellbeing is very important to us and so all children benefit from free breakfast and daily Kaleidoscope colour therapy lessons to start the day, weekly visits from our four school therapy dogs and additional support is offered to children and their families through our incredible Family Support team who are always available to help you and your family should you need them. Interventions support children to foster self esteem and promote positive wellbeing such as; Lego Therapy, ARTiculate and small group Kaleidoscope

Our curriculum is further enhanced by weekly enrichment sessions where all children develop talents and passions beyond the classroom such as; musical theatre, gardening, yoga, astronomy and cooking. Children also have the opportunity to participate in Forest Schools led by our Forest School Leader, a variety of after school activities and clubs, the chance to become a rock star at Rock Steady and spend quality time with our school dogs. Trips and visits are planned throughout the year to support children’s learning and we have a very special programme of experiences called ‘Big Hearts’ and ‘Big Dreams’. These are unique experiences that build a childhood.

If you would like to join our school or visit us please contact us. We look forward to welcoming you to Knowles and sharing with you all the amazing educational experiences we have on offer.
